Chicago Bloomin'

Bold red and pink tulips lightly sway on long stems in the breeze while nurturing bees suck on their sweet nectar all the while beautifully arranged wildflowers line the streets in their correct places. If you are already feeling nostalgic about Spring time, so is painter Esther Charbit.

Charbit's painting Chicago in Bloom embraces the colors of the city during the Spring season. She uses metallic paints and three dimensional textures and patterns in her work, which give her piece an eye-catching jeweled texture, mixing cool and warm complementary colors that somehow interact with each other. Gold glitter lines the buildings- an allusion to the look of the sparkly skyline getting hit by the sun.

Chicago is truly spectacular in the Springtime, and if you ever feel like reminiscing, Charbit will help you out with that.
